Going to Washington D.C. for seven days.? |
Travel Info What to do...what to do... If anybody repeats a previous answer without adding anything then you are getting reported xP Travel Tips Well, it depends on what you enjoy. Of course you can spend a couple of days or more just going through the Smithsonian. You can visits large numbers of memorials: Lincoln, Jefferson, the Washington monument, the Vietnam Memorial etc. Sign up for the tour of the White House and see the Capital Building, Supreme Court etc. The suburbs like Crystal City and Arlington are interesting for history and for neat little restaurants. Union Station is a great trip and fun to shop around in, and you can spend time at the Arlington National Cemetery; most people don't know it was Robert E. Lee's plantation before the Civil War. I think it's a very interesting and fun place to visit. Others I have been there and saw everything in 2 days. Rent a car and drive to nearby cities or you will get bored fast. Try Pennsylvania. You sure are nice...what exactly would you report? Go ahead and try it! I'll repeat both previous answers and not add anything new. My guess is that you are going by yourself...call it an instict. Have a great time! |
