I have a 3+ hour layover on Baltimore, any suggestions to pass the time?

Travel Tips
There are a lot of suggestions here that are tongue in cheek, but unless your layover is a lot longer, there is probably not a good idea as far as entertainment outside of the airport. The airport is not in the middle of the city - getting to the city is a little complex at best, and the security in Baltimore takes a notoriously long time to get through on your way back.

If it takes 20 minutes to get off the plane and through the airport to the exit, 30 minutes to get anywhere in a taxi (your only option with this short layover), and you must be back to the airport (another 30 minutes at least) at least 1.5 hours in advance due to unreasonable security lines, then leaving the airport could result in just getting somewhere for 15 minutes or so before you must return.

There is not much to do in the airport, some bars, some shops, and such. I'd bring a good book.

Hang out in the bar , have a couple of cold ones :))

go to "yahoo answers" and ask a question about how to pass the time.
1. At the airport, when they frisk you, look the security person in the eye, grin mischeivously, and say they missed a spot.

2. When someone is paged over the airport intercom, drop everything, put your hands over you ears, and cry out, "I'm hearing voices again!"

3. Wear at least fifty assorted hidden metallic items through airport security, see how far you can hold the line at the metal detector back. Bonus points for flight delays.

4. On the plane, get up and mimick the flight attendent during the safety demonstration.

5. When travelling internationally, after you give them your passport, suddenly snatch it out of their hands saying, "Oops! Wrong one."

6. Use the moving sidewalk like a treadmill, wear shorts, a sweatband, and listen to your walkman.

7. On the plane, constantly beckon the flight attendents to ask, "Are we there yet?"

8. Also on the plane, when they break out the snacks, steal your neighbor's bag of peanuts when they're not looking. Bonus points if you can snag their drink too.

9. In the airport bathrooms, scrawl a message on the mirror threatening a vague attack, such as "Massive hemmoroids" on a specific flight number. See if it gets cancelled.

10. Wrap a luggage tag around your arm and ride the baggage claim conveyor belt for a few minutes, then have your travel companion arrive with a luaggage cart, pick you up, load you on, and roll you away.

People watch.
There are few places more emotionally charged than airports. For tear-jerkers, linger at gates with departing flights. For happier moments, follow folks with flowers and balloons.

Strike up a conversation.
There's nothing like a flight delay to bring people together. Each update brings knowing smiles. Use the next icebreaker to start a conversation with that friendly guy seated next to you.

Call your mother.
Could there be a better time?

Have a picnic.
Invest in greasy pizza, frozen yogurt or any portable delicacy you can find. Find a spot on the floor and enjoy.

Catch up on your reading list.
You won't find Plato's Republic, but you will find Oprah's latest pick. Get lost in a book.

Get your shoes shined.
Haven't you always wanted to?

Discover a new magazine.
Buy a magazine you would never subscribe to. Read it cover to cover.

Get to know the airport bartender.
You may pay $7 for a beer, but the entertainment is free.

Sleep.
Without an alarm clock or alert companion, this one must be done very carefully. If you have a marathon layover, be sure to check out Donna McSherry's Guide to Sleeping in Airports. You'll learn why the C concourse of the Anchorage airport and the airport chapel in Denver are well suited for slumber.

Plan Your Life.
Get out a notebook and plan your week or your life. Some of the most perceptive observations can be made thousands of miles from home.

or just read this list.
Well, spend some time answer and asking questions on Yahoo Answers...(it's slightly addictive) :)
Go to the Baltimore Aquarium, you can catch a baseball game or hang out at a bar.
