Travel Tips Give it 8-9 hours so you can stop and take a look at the view along the way, especially round the central plateau which has some pretty impressive looking volcanoes to look at. In fact if you are coming in (our) winter why not spend a couple of days skiing there. If your coming in summer you could take a walk around one of the volcanoes. I'm not sure where the deer comment came from...you are more likely to bump into sheep herds (but no on the main route). We have quite twisty roads in parts so yeah, just take it easy. enjoy! |
