I am a "Scot" moving to Winnipeg for a year, and am going to be looking for a job to see me through... what sort of pay do you get working in a pub behind the bar?

Here in Winnipeg you can expect to get on average $8-9 an hour plus tips, of course the more experience you have and depending on the bar/pub/club it could be more. I will say my brother in law used to bartend here and he was making over $200 a night just from tips so I think it is worth it.
