I have been there 4 times. I have been in Zacatecas and Sombrerete. Zacatecas is a very nice colonial city. There you can visit a silver mine ( Eden), a great museum in Guadalupe.
Best asset: Very friendly people and food. Kintsa Real is a great hotel in downtown. Everything is cheap in Zacatecas.
