Your problem may not be so much getting INTO Mexiso as getting OUT!
Most USA and Canadian citizens and even legal immigrants and residents can enter Mexico with pretty much just adequate proof of citizenship and good ID. However to RE-ENTER the USA from Mexico (or Canada), AFTER Jan 1st. 2007, EVERY person of ANY nationality (British, French, Mexican, Canadian, AMERICAN!) will require a valid passport! (look for MAJOR problems, I'll bet January 1st. at US border crossings will make New Orleans after Katrina look like a walk in the park!) |
