Voted city for best quality of life? |
Travel Info I read that Zurich was voted the city in Europen with the best quality of living, since I've never been there could someone tell me what gives Zurich this title? Travel Tips Switzerland is overall very safe and stable country with good economy. Zurich is know as the Best Little City. It is not too big but has a lot to do and offer. Right there is the formula for a great place to live with good quality of life! Vancouver (Canada) is placed third, followed by Vienna (Austria), Auckland (New Zealand) and D眉sseldorf (Germany). Switzerland has a very high standard of living,extremly wealthy people there,and low unemployment,high wages,great air -The Alps-everything.I live in Vancouver ,the best place in North-America and 3 rd world-wide. Fort Bragg, California. Ocean, Forests, no snow ever and a high of 68 (7/08) today. No air or water pollution. River and Ocean Kayaking, bicycle and/or hiking trails that go forever, Abalone for the picking and big Salmon. All within walking distance. High wages, low crime, excellent public transportation, political stability are the big ones. It's a nice city and a wee bit too boring for the "bad guys" to hang out in. |
